Project Description
Kwang started his doctoral research in November 2013, and works for both the department of Neurotrauma and Neurodegeneration with Prof Ann Logan and also the department of Biochemical Engineering with Prof Grover. His current PhD project involves developing a bio-membrane dressing consisting of a polysaccharide gellan and decorin; a proteoglycan that is known to have anti-scarring effects.
Personal Description
Kwang received his MBChB from the University of Glasgow in 2008 and MSc in Surgical Science from the University of Edinburgh in 2012. Outside of work, Kwang enjoys taking part in musical performances with the IDOLS group, which raises funds for the Leicester Hospitals charity.
